David Wrench is a Welsh artist, writer, producer and mixer based in London.

He works with some of the most influential and innovative artists in the music industry and his work has been nominated for Grammys and Brit Awards. He has mixed 8 Mercury nominated albums including the 2017 winning album Process by Sampha. He has won numerous Music Producers Guild awards including Mix Engineer of the Year twice.

Credits include David Byrne, The xx, Frank Ocean, Caribou, Goldfrapp, Sampha, Jamie xx, Jungle, FKA Twigs, Glass Animals, Alma, Hot Chip, Marika Hackman, Honne, Jack Garratt, Austra, Tourist, Richard Russell, Let’s Eat Grandma, Young Fathers, Georgia, Bat For Lashes, Race Horses.

David also works in surround sound mixing. He worked with Frank Ocean on his 2017 tour dates (mixed in 7.1) and mixes the Tree of Codes ballet (scored by Jamie xx and choreographed by Wayne McGregor for MIF) specifically for each venue.

David collaborates with Mix with the Masters, is a Waves artist, and has given talks at numerous conferences including ADE and Cambridge University.
